AGBU New England District

The Armenian General Benevolent Union (AGBU) is the world’s largest non-profit Armenian organization, operating globally with its foundational United States Eastern Region hub rooted in the greater Boston area. Originally founded in 1906 in Cairo, Egypt, its central purpose is to preserve and promote the Armenian heritage and identity through wide-ranging educational, cultural, and humanitarian programs. Serving millions of people across the global diaspora, the organization anchors its community by funding schools, student scholarships, youth mentorships, arts programs, and emergency global relief initiatives, alongside the highly regarded AGBU Global Leadership Program for young professionals.
