Armenian Church of the Holy Ascension

The Armenian Church of the Holy Ascension is a cornerstone parish of the Eastern Diocese of the Armenian Church of America located in Trumbull, Connecticut. Originally founded in Bridgeport in 1931 by survivors of the Armenian Genocide, its central purpose is to provide a spiritual home and preserve the ancient Orthodox faith and sacraments for the southern Connecticut diaspora. Operating out of its current Trumbull facility since 1978, the parish anchors its community through weekly Divine Liturgy, youth Sunday school, an active Women’s Guild, and a dedicated Armenian language and Bible school.
