Armenian Church of the Holy Resurrection
The Armenian Church of the Holy Resurrection is a historic parish of the Eastern Diocese of the Armenian Church of America located in New Britain, Connecticut. Originally founded by the local immigrant community in 1900, its core purpose is to preserve and share the ancient Orthodox faith, sacraments, and liturgical traditions of the Armenian Apostolic Church. Through weekly Divine Liturgy, unique social activities like its multi-generational chess club, and its highly anticipated annual food festival, the church fosters a deeply supportive network that sustains Armenian spiritual and cultural identity across Connecticut.
