AYF Camp Haiastan
The AYF Camp Haiastan is a historic summer camp facility located on Uncas Pond in Franklin, Massachusetts. Established in 1951 as the first Armenian summer camp in the United States, its flagship purpose is to foster a safe, inclusive environment where Armenian-American youth can strengthen their cultural identity. Operating under the Armenian Youth Federation (AYF-YOARF), the camp serves children ages 5–16 through day and overnight sessions that combine traditional outdoor recreation—such as boating and ropes courses—with Armenian history, language, traditional music, and dance.
