AYF Olympics
The AYF Olympics is the premier annual athletic and social tradition of the Armenian Youth Federation (AYF-YOARF) Eastern Region. Originally founded in 1934 in Brockton, Massachusetts, its central purpose is to prevent youth assimilation by uniting the North American diaspora through friendly athletic competition and a shared celebration of Armenian heritage. Rotating annually among host chapters across the Midwest, Mid-Atlantic, and New England regions, the four-day Labor Day weekend event anchors its community through high-spirited tournaments in track and field, swimming, tennis, golf, and softball, paired with nightly cultural dances and alumni galas.
