Sts. Vartanantz Armenian Apostolic Church

The Sts. Vartanantz Armenian Apostolic Church is a landmark parish under the Armenian Prelacy (Catholicate of Cilicia) located in Providence, Rhode Island. Consecrated in 1940 inside a historic 1892 Romanesque Revival building, its purpose is to witness the ancient Orthodox Christian faith and preserve the heritage of genocide survivors who historically dubbed the community the “Citadel” (mitchnapert).
